Electrification planningElectrify everything, then power it with renewables. This is the only path to a low carbon future, and the only path to safety of our planet and citizens. Our team has deep experience with total electric buildings, and electrification planning at scale.
renewable communitiesThere are two potential futures for our cities: 100% renewable, or under water. If your city or state wants to be the first to reach 100% renewable, Rising Tide can help you get there.

five founding principles
CONNECTION TO THE OUTDOORS IS PARAMOUNT
A well-designed space is inextricably tied to the surrounding outdoor environment.
SYSTEMS MUST INTEGRATE WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL VISION
Building systems can ruin the aesthetic of a space or facade. Passion for the Architectural form means ceaselessly working to ensure engineering integrates with and enhances the aesthetic vision.
THE MOST EFFICIENT SYSTEM IS THE ONE THAT'S OFF
We don't leave our cars on idle while we sleep, so why are commercial building systems churning while the rooms are empty? By using passive design strategies like daylight dimming or natural ventilation, deeper energy savings is possible. In some cases, spending capital on the most efficient system doesn't make sense if it's never on. In car terms, a Hummer that is used once a year uses less gas than a Prius driven to the mall every day.
SPACE EFFICIENCY BREEDS RESOURCE EFFICIENCY
Energy use in buildings is often increased as square footage increases, meaning extra unused space in over-sized homes and empty office buildings is wasting our precious natural resources.
GAS IS DEAD - THE FUTURE IS ELECTRIC
Electricity has been capable of providing space heating, water heating, cooking, and powering vehicles for over a century. Now that solar and wind power are becoming abundant and coal-fired power production is on the decline, there's no reason to continue to use natural gas in our buildings or gasoline in our cars. It's time to flip the switch.
